We are on the hunt for a HR Advisor to join our small team. Reporting directly to the MD, you will be working with a high degree of autonomy to deliver top-notch support to our clients.

This won't be your first role on HR, but may well be your first step into consultancy.

Redway HR provide HR and Management Development services, helping leaders and their teams to grow, change and thrive. We work with a range of organisations from first time employers to central London landmarks across a variety of sectors. Our clients are predominantly across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and London.

This is a new role in a small but perfectly formed team, who are ready to welcome you and help get you up to speed on what can be a challenging, but ultimately rewarding role.

**Responsibilities**

The role is responsible for the delivery of a professional, commercially focused service to our growing number of SME and corporate clients. You will need to listen, understand and respond in an action focussed way, sometimes with the support of other experts from the wider team.

You will be responsible for the account management of assigned clients and oversee the delivery of all Redway HR services for those clients, bringing in other members of the team where their skillset is better suited. There is an expectation that the HR Advisor will proactively seek to bring new business into the Company to support our planned growth, through LinkedIn or other methods.

**Accountabilities**
- Ensure that allocated client issues and queries are resolved promptly and effectively, and that client needs are met through offering appropriate and relevant solutions to suit their business aims
- Advising business owners, directors and managers on range of issues offering both practical and coaching-style support
- Conduct and manage HR casework on the full range of HR activity, including but not limited to contract changes, absence, capability and performance, all types of leave, grievance, disciplinary, and restructuring; provide HR support at occasional formal meetings, hearings and appeals as necessary.

*Delivering projects for our clients such as managing vacancies, implementing our HRIS, writing policies, managing employee relations issues, delivering training or developing HR strategies to resolve identified issues

*Supporting colleagues with delegated work from their projects and clients, and taking advantage of the range of skills within the team to draw in their expertise for your clients when needed.

*Liaison with external stakeholders such as employment solicitors, benefits providers, payroll bureaus or recruitment agencies to provide the most appropriate solutions for our clients, where we are unable to do so ourselves.
- Account management of clients on your caseload, taking care of their needs through regular contact, quarterly usage reports and sharing information on our full services
- Driving sales through effective account management and proactive engagement with external contacts through a range of media.

**Qualifications**

To be successful in the role you the following are essential:
*A Level qualifications (or equivalent)
- Level 3 or 5 HR qualification (or equivalent)

*Previous experience in an HR role, including managing a caseload

*An understanding of the employment legislation relating to the role

*Secure in the use of IT; for example HRIS, MS Office

*Excellent organisational skills; able to juggle conflicting priorities and to tight deadlines

*Excellent written communication skills

*Numerate with experience of analysing data

*Able to retain motivation and passion while working remotely

*Willing to travel with driving licence and own car

*Good broadband speed (minimum average download speed of 25 Mbps)

It would be an advantage if you have worked in an HR shared services team or in a regional or head office HR support function in a multi-site organisation.

**Job Benefits**

£30,000 - £35,000 pro rata (depending on experience)

25 - 37.5 hours per week over 5 days (negotiable)

6 weeks holiday including bank holidays

**Further information**:
We are considering moving into office premises in 12 - 18 months, in the Harpenden area and there will be an expectation of hybrid working at that time.

We will provide you with the necessary IT equipment and access to our VOIP phone system, which requires internet bandwidth of 5-25 Mbps download speed.
