We are searching for an **HR Assistant **to provide HR support and advice to employees and line managers, explaining policies and procedures in a timely and effective manner and contribute to the long-term development of the HR function.Doyou have a good understanding of HR policies and procedures and basic employment legislation? As an **HR Assistant** you will be responsible for:

- Proactively contribute and provide HR administration support to the HR Advisors with the development and maintenance of human resource policies and procedures
- Contribute and support in HR projects such as Security screening/vetting, or other projects as they arise
- Administration of the performance management system records and delivery
- Providing support with the administration of investigations for disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Carry out any other reasonable ad hoc duties to support the HR department

As an **HR Assistant**you will have the following expertise and attributes:

- Knowledge and understanding of HR policy and processes including capability, maternity/paternity, TUPE, Pensions, Absence, and Change management is an advantage.
- Previous experience in a similar HR related role which involved communicating directly with Managers
- An excellent understanding of working within a fast-paced organisation
- Self-motivated with ability to use initiative
- Resilient with a methodical approach and ability to work under pressure
- Understands the importance of implementing processes
- Strong commercial awareness, and IT literacy
- Passionate, flexible, trustworthy and innovative.
