**We are looking for**:
**Your day-to-day responsibilities**:

- Regular inspection of facilities of all areas, particularly for cleanliness and taking corrective and preventative actions where necessary.
- Ensure that all areas of the building are safe and fit for purpose.
- Tracking the maintenance of facilities and physical assets, organising and completing preventative maintenance, scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Ensure that any work that requires third party contractors are monitored and all work is completed satisfactorily and signed for upon completion.
- Assisting with the the management of office equipment, fixtures/fittings, service contracts, cleaners.
- Working within an IT team; responsibility for maintenance and management of an inventory of physical assets.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers of Bank equipment, ranging from IT hardware to office supplies.
- Support line manager with maintaining database of contracts and correspondence.
- Responding quickly to emergencies that arise and dealing with them appropriately.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations through regular inspections, risk assessments, and policy enforcement. Co-ordinate emergency procedures, address hazards, and promote a safety-focused workplace.

**Person/Experience required**:

- A relevant degree e.g. Facilities Management, Engineering, Health and Safety.
- Knowledge/experience of building maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to provide exceptional levels of customer service.
- Team player, capable of working in a fast-paced pressured environment.
- Ability to build relationships effectively, both in the immediate team and wider business.
- Ability to work under your own initiative and to strict deadlines
- Able to think outside the box when problem solving
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
