Pertemps Coventry is currently on the lookout for Trainee Cold Stitchers.
This is an amazing opportunity to work for an internationally recognised leader in specialist mechanical repair, ranging from on-site machining and metal stitching repairs, to welding and alignment, metal spraying and electromechanical work.

As a trainee, you will be trained in the cold stitching process, for the repair or crank shafts, engines, gearboxes, etc for industries such as power generation, steel-making, petrochemicals, water, manufacturing, pressing and forging and many others.

The starting salary will be between £9 and £12 per hour dependant on your background and experience and it will increase gradually as you learn and develop.
Once fully trained, the salary will reach £16 - £17 per hour dependant on your skills, you will receive a company van and be required to work on various sites across the UK and abroad.

This position is a permanent one and it is working within a company that promotes from within.

Key Duties within the role, once fully trained will be surveying damaged items and completing all necessary sheets, grinding of damaged areas, clamping, drilling and tapping etc.
