**Head of Business Development(Technology / Construction)** **Location: UK** **Salary: Up to £100,000 per annum including car allowance,plus Commission** **Full time, Permanent** Do you have experience in managing Business Development teams, driving complex large bids and tenders and are used to engaging with senior decision makers in international organisations? If so and you have a passion for delivering a great client experience through innovative technical solutions, then we may have the perfect opportunity for you?We are looking for a motivated and commercially astute Head of Business Development to join ourUK and International Business Development Team. This role could be based in Europe or UK (with regular travel to the Company Head Office in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, UK) This is a key strategic growth role for our UK and International Business Development Team and involves working to drive revenue and growth through an outstanding Business Development (and account management) process that delivers genuine best value to ourclients. In addition to facilitating sales (and client relationship management) this role will also focus on growing revenues through new strategic partnerships and cross-sell activities with existing clients. This role will work across multiple teams leading strategic sales development across the organisation. **Key responsibilities will include**: - Driving the sales pipeline (net new and re-contracting) with the UK and International Business Development Teams - Following a 'next step’ sales process with the Account Directors including client meetings and Annual Client Service reviews - Building and delivering bespoke presentations to prospective clients - Ensuring data driven decisions are made in respect of proposals and tenders - Delivery of new business growth against a pre-determined target - Internal Business Development Activities including high quality business development coaching - Ensuring that the integrity of the ASK4 pipeline is maintained at all times - Recent & consistent track record of building a successful pipeline of new business (ideally within the technology industry). - Experienced in dealing at senior management / C-Suite level. - Experience of partnership development and delivery. - Development and implementation of business development plans and systems, of financial planning and modelling. - Previous experience leading a business development team. - Experience of leading and managing projects outside of line management responsibilities - Proficient in SQL based CRM data portals - Project management skills - PowerPoint and Excel skills - Multilingual (Spanish) - Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) Industry experience would be advantageous Most importantly you’ll have excellent communication and people skills, as well as being a confident negotiator. You will be motivated by ambitious goals and know what is needed to hit them, you will have a creative solution driven mind-set but a "get itdone" attitude.
