We have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join a well-established company in Andover, Hampshire.
A SNAPSHOT OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Answering new business enquiries.
Diarising call backs to help close a sale.
Participate in developing strategic new business plans in line with company plans.
Networking if beneficial.
Attend industry functions, such as awards, conferences and exhibitions if beneficial.
Identify opportunities for service channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
Help Identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators.
Execution of sales plans.
Present weekly progress reports.
Have knowledge of the market & our competitors at all times.
Improve the organisation's market position and help the company achieve financial growth.
The Sales Team is in essence 'selling' the company's service which is to arrange Carers to 'Live-in' the homes of people in need.
IDEALLY, WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE BELOW KEY SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES:
Firstly, we are looking for an extremely organised, motivated, and fun-loving person to work alongside a colleague in a similar role.
You must have some experience in a care sector background and also in sales.
We ideally require 5 years' Sales/Business Development experience as well as an experienced Sales Executive/Marketing Executive/Business Development Manager.
Skills in listening, being empathetic, and having the ability to see a solution rather than barriers and work hard to exceed customers' expectations.
Have excellent English skills, with an exemplary telephone manner, and be empathetic to customers, who often call in distress.
Have strong Microsoft Office Skills and excellent Customer Service Skills.
Ideally, be familiar with the care sector.
Be a confident, persuasive, charming person, with an eye for new opportunities, and the ability to drive sales and increase revenue by developing new business opportunities.
Above all, to be successful in this role you need to show enthusiasm, drive and passion with a strong desire to 'win' new business.
