Clinical Educator

Devise, organise and deliver the enhanced level 1 training programme and competency assessments across the Division and liaise with other MDT teams to facilitate as required. Act as a role model alongside all staff members supporting them to develop their confidence in enhanced level 1 care in clinical practice. Promote reflective practice, clinical supervision, coaching and experiential learning opportunities developing a learning culture. Promote by own example, effective multidisciplinary team working.
Share good practice with colleagues across the division to enhance the quality of the learning environment through the training programme. Contribute towards the development of clinical staff competence in enhanced level 1 training. Be a visible role model to ensure that the dignity, rights and confidentiality of the patient and individual team members are protected and maintained in accordance with national standards and guidelines. Plan, prepare and maintain materials for use in educational programmes that is accurate and relevant to the target audience.
Monitor and evaluate training feedback and adapt as required. Ensure accurate records of training and education are maintained.
