** WMS Projects Coordinator**

**Skelmersdale (Regional North West)**

**£30,000 - £35,000 (flexible depending on experience)**

**Monday - Friday, Days**

I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Project Coordinator to join a large blue chip company assisting the projects team in development an roll out of warehouse WMS systems and CI.
- Previous experience within a logistics, warehouse or transport projects team
- Previous experience with working with, implementing and training on WMS systems
- Experience in delivery of supply chin change projects, specifically warehouse management systems, upgrades and implementations
- Previous operational warehouse experience is highly desirable
- Previous experience of using a variety of WMS systems
- Using core project management techniques and tools, demonstrating ability to deliver overlapping projects over multiple year
- Intermediate or advanced Excel and Microsoft skills
- Ability to build effective working relationships across multiple functions and 3rd party contractors
- Strong administrative and IT skills
- Must have a hands on approach
- Proven experience of Continuous Improvement and change management withing a logistics operation is highly desirable

**Duties and Responsibilities;**
- Managing the technical configuration of the sites Warehouse Management Systems to maximize productivity and service levels
- Ensuring that the WMS interfaces efficiently with other Supply chain systems
- Guiding and supporting the team to carry out analysis and investigation to find possible cause to incidents and escalate as required
- Providing regular reporting to senior management detailing the progress of systems project and a review if any Major IT incidents
- Developing close working relationships with Central IT functions to raise awareness of the NDC business plan and creating opportunities to help its delivery
- Establishing a process to review and optimise Systems through effective and regular communication with key stakeholders.
- Challenging existing processes and practices and implementing initiatives to drive continuous improvement
