Our client is looking to recruit a **Deputy** **Production Supervisor**.

The Production Supervisor will be required to work within the existing production team, ascertain product availability in time and quality, and operate processes in an efficient and safe manner. Environment at the Aberdeen site including offices, factory and ship discharging operations.

**Responsibilities**
- To actively contribute to improve plant performance and reliability, challenging for cost controls and continuously improving quality. Propose for CAPEX improvements and follow up with CIT.
- To manage the staff in terms of people development and shift planning organization.
- To ensure product availability in time, quantity and quality in liaison with Customer Services.
- To manage stocks of raw materials and consumables in the most cost effective way compromising between Net Working Capital and safe operations.
- To plan with the maintenance team for plant stoppage to ensure adequate preventative maintenance.
- To support and follow up on Customer and internal audits, Investigate and answer customer complaints.
- To identify legal requirements and verify compliance QSHE for all aspect of the operations incl. processing and loading/shipping.
- To coordinate training in general and facilitate/deliver the necessary training in QSHE (refreshers, Tool box talks, Updates in procedures)
- To support the investigation and documentation of QSHE incidents and follow-up on the prevention and / or correction and response
- To support the plant management team in continuous health & safety performance improvement (i.e. performs analysis/statistics and identify the trends, animate/coordinate the plant QSHE meetings...)
- To coordinate external environmental services
- Other tasks assigned by management, in the context of job skills
- To carry out routine H&S inspections and support for definition/ follow-up of the action plan
- To organise and lead H&S committee.
- Plan for and develop future workplace evolution using appropriate change management technics to make the plants meet the highest H&S standards.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Aberdeen: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Production: 5 years (preferred)
- Supervisory: 5 years (preferred)
- Plant: 5 years (preferred)
