The RAC are recruiting for a Finance Business Partner who can contribute to the provision of full and accurate financial information (both costs and revenue), alongside providing financial support, guidance, insight, and challenge.

Working hours are 35 hours per week across Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.This position is a hybrid role (two days on-site working - normally at our Bradley Stoke RAC Office in BRISTOL, although there is a requirement for occasional travel to Walsall and/or Stretford).
**Role Purpose**
As Finance Business Partner you will provide representation of RAC’s Insurance Finance function at third party product performance meetings to support commercial decisions and ensure both organisations are aligned in their understanding of both short
- and medium-termtargets and variances to those.
You can expect to be working alongside the Pricing function to assist in full understanding of pricing decisions and the impact they will have on relevant P&L’s.Provide support and challenge the factors influencing performance to our Insurance Senior Managers.
Accountabilities
- Support the Finance Director to Inform business leaders and their decision-making through commercial understanding of the Insurance business
- Understand the Group Strategy and Five-year Plan,
- Support the business area in preparation of annual budgets and forecasting
- Effective and efficient accounting, producing timely and accurate numbers
- Deliver effective operation of financial controls
- Proactive reporting of financial performance
- Provide business area with effective financial insight, analysis, and challenge
- Support provision of financial appraisal and decision support
- Follow standards and controls of Board, Group Finance, and regulatory bodies
- Deliver success through building and maintaining effective relationships and partnering disciplines

**Qualifications**
The RAC are looking to appoint a Part-qualified or QBE accountant with relevant experience.You will need to demonstrate prior experience within either insurance and/or Legal/Financial Services products.

- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to assimilate information and make decisions quickly
