Quality Assurance Inspector

**About The Role**:

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Inspector to become a vital part of our onsite Technical Team at our Nuts & Dried Fruit facility in Telford. If you are passionate about Technical and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, this role is perfect for you

**Position Details**:

- Schedule: Rotating shifts between 5:30am and 11pm - Monday - Friday
- Location: IPL, Telford - Site Based
- Contract Type: Permanent

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Completing product inspections to ensure that product and packaging is within specification
- Releasing materials to production in a timely manner once testing is completed
- Monitoring compliance to Food Safety, Quality, Authenticity and Legality in Operations
- Controlling non-conforming product

**What are we looking for?**

Essential Requirements
- GCSE in Maths and English
- Resilient and able to work under pressure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Assertive and able to challenge constructively
- A genuine team player with a collaborative mindset
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks
- Flexible, including willingness to adjust shifts to support colleagues
- Tenacious, with a drive to see tasks through to completion

Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate
- Level 3 HACCP Certificate
- Internal Auditing Certificate
- Previous QA experience in food manufacturing
- Familiarity with root cause analysis
- Basic understanding of microbiology
