**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**
Overall, Purpose of Role:
Our client is looking for Quality inspector to join the business and support the department in fast growing business based in Kettering Northamptonshire.

The successful Quality inspector will be joining a well-established company, who are offering the great opportunities to learn and progress. Quality Inspector will be reporting to the Quality Manager and working as a part of the team.
As Quality inspector you will be responsible for supporting the Quality team across various stages of the process and play a critical part of developing the culture and attitude to quality in line with delivering an outstanding product and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Undertake inspections according to our inspection check sheets.
- Document inspection results
- Identify, report and document all suspect or defective products
- Operate tools for measuring to verify product dimensions.
- Communicate all non-conformity issues to line operators.
- Follow legal regulations for a safe and healthy work place.
- Engage with goods in to ensure both incoming vehicle and supplier manufactured parts meet required standards ahead of production.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to improve processes to deliver improvements to quality.
- Ensure that the inspection department is compliant with the quality management system and company procedures.

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**:

- Proven work experience in manufacturing as Quality Inspector or similar Quality role.
- Good IT system knowledge and skills including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
- Ability to read technical documents, drawings and diagrams.
- Strong verbal and written communication and people skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent decision-making skills.
- To be self-driven, results-oriented with a positive disposition.
- Must be able to make own decisions and liaise with other department/ colleagues.
- Working under pressure.
