**Work Location**:Elizabeth II Court, Winchester (Hybrid Working)
**Contract Type**: Permanent
**Hours per week**: 37
**Closing Date**: 31 May 2025

**The Role**:

- Our Special Educational Needs (SEN) EHC Coordinators play a vital role, supporting children, young people and their families. We are looking for professionals to join our team supporting the co-ordination and management of Education, Health and Care (EHC) Assessments and plans for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Hampshire County Council’s Children’s Service is very highly regarded nationally and rated Outstanding by Ofsted.

As a good all-round communicator, you will join a supportive Casework Team where you will be trained, supported and nurtured to develop and succeed. This is a challenging, responsible and interesting role within a very busy working environment. In this role you will be liaising with a range of professionals, families and young people to ensure special educational provision is in place to support young people. However, you will not be directly working in education settings with young people with SEN.

We believe in rewarding our staff for their commitment to delivering essential public services with an extensive range of benefits. We want to help you strive to be the best you can be, and to enjoy serving Hampshire with purpose and pride. Your work base will be at our office in Winchester. The current expectation is to be office based for one day per week, working from home for the remainder. However, there will also be a requirement to attend face to face meetings in education settings at times and to attend service days at points throughout the year.
