As a Barclays Team Leader you will contribute to the overall business unit’s success through driving, implementing & monitoring individual and team performance & targets whilst ensuring company policies & procedures are fully adhered to. You will be expected to drive and maintain the high profile of your team, developing solid relationships across the business to improve the customer experience and actively dealing with challenges to drive clear outcomes that will influence continuous improvement.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Leading & motivating the team through coaching, training and succession planning to enable the highest levels of performance
- Managing day-to-day planning including workflow management and the deployment of colleagues to meet strategic business goals and targets
- Providing stakeholder management across multiple channels will be essential to drive a culture that encourages continuous business improvement
- Developing strong relationships across the business to improve the customer experience and actively dealing with challenges to drive clear outcomes
- Reviewing team processes and procedures to identify areas of improvement, productivity gains & efficiencies and implementing changes
- Overseeing people engagement feedback through Employment Opinion Surveys, Employee Forums and other sources

- Excellent verbal & written communication skills including negotiation, influencing & presenting to a range of internal & external stakeholders
- Adaptable & flexible with the appetite & motivation to contribute to / deliver change in order to satisfy business expectations & support our customer base
- Exceptional PC skills including Microsoft Office

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Experience in leading a Team / managing people, drawing on coaching & mentoring skills to drive the performance & development of direct reports.
- The ability to review & analyse processes, presenting recommendations to a range of stakeholders & challenging the status quo while also championing the Team
- Experience in the Financial Services Knowledge of payment processing and processing cycles Servicing background, to either internal or external customers

**Where will you **be working?**
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64 acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play. We have an onsite gym, as well as outdoor tennis, football and cricket areas, as well as onsite restaurant and coffee shops.
