Assistant Headteacher – SEMH School Location: KnutsfordSalary: Up to £50K | Full Time (40 hours/week) The Leader Group is delighted to be supporting the recruitment of a Assistant Headteacher for our client, a well‑established specialist SEMH school in Knutsford. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and committed leader to make a lasting impact in a school. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading staff, driving school improvement, and supporting the Headteacher with both strategic planning and operational leadership. Key Responsibilities Be a visible and proactive member of the senior leadership team. Lead on staff development and embed best practice across the school. Support the Headteacher with the School Development Plan. Contribute to whole‑school improvement and student outcomes. Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. We Are Looking For A forward‑thinking leader with experience of driving change and improvement. Someone with the skills to develop staff and foster a collaborative, reflective culture. A leader who can inspire high expectations and shape a curriculum that meets the needs of all learners. An excellent communicator, confident in deputising for the Headteacher.
