**Buyer - Aluminium Windows & Doors** Job Title: Buyer - Aluminium Windows & Doors Industry Sector: Aluminium, Aluminium Windows, Aluminium Doors, Curtain Walling, Fire Rated Products, Glazing, Architectural Glazing, Steelwork, Bespoke Glazing, Partitions, Double Glazing, Building Facades, Facades, Fenestration, Construction, Manufacturer,Buying, Buyer, Procurement, Supply Chain, Stock Control Location: Birmingham or surrounding areas Remuneration: £25,000 - £30,000neg Benefits Package: Comprehensive Benefits Package The role of the Buyer - Aluminium Windows & Doors will involve: - Buyer position enabling the production for a range of manufactured aluminum windows, aluminum doors, curtain walling and fire rated products - Managing the procurement governance process and strategy across the business - Conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers - Build and develop relationships with current suppliers to negotiate the best prices - Implement strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levels - Develop and maintain reports, spreadsheets and inventory control programs - Coordinate a successful sourcing strategy - Introduce key suppliers to company level stakeholders - Research new products and services to ensure company goals are achieved - Manage and organise "on the day" transport and equipment The ideal applicant will be a Buyer - Aluminium Windows & Doors experience with: - Must have buying experience with a manufacturer - Ideally will be from the fenestration / construction industry, however would consider other manufacturing backgrounds - Ideally will be familiar with Xero software - A working knowledge of finance cost management and risk management - Must be confident on the phone - Must have the ability to work well within a team - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Strong relationship builder - Pro-active, hungry, self-motived and enthusiastic individual - Computer literate (Microsoft Office) Mitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Procurement Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Procurement Jobs, Construction Procurement Vacancies and Procurement Positions within: Aluminium, Aluminium Windows, Aluminium Doors, Curtain Walling,Fire Rated Products, Glazing, Architectural Glazing, Steelwork, Bespoke Glazing, Partitions, Double Glazing, Building Facades, Facades, Structural Glazing, Fenestration, Construction, Manufacturer, Buying, Buyer, Procurement, Supply Chain, Stock Control
