Location: Birmingham or surrounding areas

Remuneration: £25,000 - £30,000neg + annual bonus

The role of the Sales Engineer - Aluminium Windows & Doors will involve:

- Sales Engineer position selling a range of manufactured aluminum windows, aluminum doors, curtain walling, aluminum shop fronts, entrance facades, shutters and steel doors
- Selling to main contractors for projects within the commercial sector such as warehouses, office buildings and schools, whilst also selling to blue chip end users such as Tesco, Asda and Amazon
- Office based role however may be required to visit customers within the Midlands region, hybrid working is also possible
- Responsible for managing enquiries coming in and going out, then following up on them
- Maintain and develop existing customer relations
- Create and build new relationships, increasing the opportunity for new business where possible and generating sales leads
- You’ll spend 75% of your time dealing with existing accounts and the remaining 25% bringing on new business
- Project sizes vary from between £200 to £200,000 with the average order value being circa £50k
- You’ll be measured on sales conversion, increasing the customer base and number of enquiries made

The ideal applicant will be a Sales Engineer - Aluminium Windows & Doors experience with:

- Must have 2-3years sales experience within the construction industry
- Experience within the aluminium industry would be advantageous however not essential
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
- Strong relationship building skills
- Willing to assist in other areas of the business as and when required
- Pro-active, organised, self-motived and enthusiastic individual
- Computer literate
- Full UK driving license
