Solar Sales Consultant

We are looking for a passionate experienced solar sales consultant to join our friendly growing solar installation company. As a solar sales consultant, you will have the first contact with our customers, providing them with information about our products and the benefits of solar at this unprecedented time where energy prices are skyrocketing.
Your duties will include managing inbound and outbound sales calls, gathering data from the customer, analysing their needs, calculating resources, preparing quotes, providing customers with information on our products, taking payments and providing after-sales support. On rare occasions, you may also be required to visit customer sites and consult on larger installations.
To ensure success as a solar sales consultant, you should have excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for solar energy, and a solid background in sales. Ultimately, a top-class Solar Sales Representative builds a rapport with customers and provides them with tailor-made solar solutions.
Rate of Pay: Basic salary + Commissions
**Solar Sales Consultant Responsibilities**:
- Building trust and rapport with customers as first point of contact for GGRS Energie Ltd.
- Providing both Domestic and Commercial customers with information about company equipment and solar systems.
- Answering any questions customers have regarding solar products and potential benefits for their specific needs.
- Gathering information to accurately identify the customer’s solar needs.
- Selecting solar energy products and systems to best suit the customer’s needs.
- Preparing or reviewing designs for the customer’s solar installation.
- Creating fully customized energy packages for large-scale solar installations.
- Providing customers with quotes, sales orders, shipping information, and tax credit information.
- Providing after-sales service including courtesy calls and site visits.
- Following up on sales quotes from other members of the sales team.
- Completing sales order paperwork and keeping customer profile updated on CRM
- Following up all potential leads for new accounts.
**Solar Sales Consultant Requirements**:
- Previous work experience as a solar sales consultant.
- In-depth knowledge of solar pv equipment and installations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and target driven
- Excellent communication internally with other team members to ensure the customer journey is delivered to the highest standard
- Highly organised with good time management
- Professional appearance and a friendly disposition.
- Ability to relate technical information in layman’s terms.
- Ability to travel and work irregular hours.
- In-depth knowledge of sales and Office software including Word and Excel
