Female Personal Care Assistant/support Worker

Female Personal Care Assistant/Support Worker required to assist a young woman with a Physical and Learning disabilities living in the Motherwell area.
You would be required to provide one to one care and assistance within their home and in the community including attending and participation in social activities.
I am a 26 year old young woman with disabilities and an amazing personality. I enjoy a busy social life, so I need someone energetic with a good sense of humour that can encourage new adventures.
I love shopping, ice skating, swimming and making TikTok’s.
I am looking for a fun loving, reliable, enthusiastic personal assistant to support me to live my life to the best.
Your duties would involve assisting with tasks such as:
- Escorting me to leisure or other activities
- Keeping me safe and helping me understand risks
- Shopping and/ or assistance to go shopping
- Participating in swimming with me
- Any other daily living tasks to promote independent living
Driver with a Full UK Driving Licence is essential as you will be required to use your own vehicle - mileage allowance will be paid.
Must take a proactive and innovative approach to support and encourage individual to be involved in activities suited to their needs.
Experience is required but not essential as training will be provided.
The most important qualities are a warm and friendly nature and a desire to work within a caring role.
Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
**Hours of Work (with a degree of flexibility)**
Recruiting for 1 position.
Guaranteed permanent position of 8 hours per week, more hours may be available.
**Days and times**:
Weekly rota - Hours are flexible Monday to Friday with occasional weekends and evenings - to be discussed at interview
**Hourly rate**:
£13.00 per hour
