**Salary: Competitive** **Grade: 3A Contract Type: Permanent Location: London or Chesterfield Reporting to: Change Resource Manager Division: Strategy & Transformation** **The Purpose of the Role** This role is responsible for the delivery of strategically important and high profile projects or Work Streams from initiation through delivery, implementation, close down, and hand over to operational teams. This will typically be operating within a portfoliovia a project/programme or value stream/Agile Release Train - delivering via both agile/traditional/hybrid approaches. The role holder will be overseeing everything from the high level engagement and governance with key decision makers and stakeholders, leading on project approach and structure - down through to delivery on the ground with internal and supplier side deliveryteams. **Principal Accountabilities** - Senior PM will work on more complex or high profile projects - Will lead delivery independently or with/through other PMs assigned to the delivery - Working cross functionally in matrix teams to deliver business solutions, ensuring that the critical success factors are met while scope, time, quality and cost of the projects are maintained. Confident to deliver through both traditional and agile methods(including SAFe at scale). - Delivering business critical projects/work steams to time, cost and quality and maximising the delivery of value to the business. **Qualifications, Experience & Skills** - Strong management skills, ability to work within a defined framework covering processes standards, risk/issue/dependency management, change control and reporting - Delivery leader with positive, proactive, can do approach - Strong interpersonal and communication skills with Director level staff through to project teams - Prince 2 (desirable) - Scrum Certification (Scrum Master, Product Owner etc) (desirable) - SAFe certification (desirable) **About The Post Office** The Post Office has thrived at the heart of high streets and local communities across the UK for over 370 years.
