Churchill Howard are working in partnership with a global listed business to recruit a Head of Financial Reporting to lead the business' financial reporting and treasury reporting team. You will be joining the business at an exciting stage in its strategicdevelopment and have a real opportunity to make an immediate impact.
Responsibilities will include:

- Leading the financial reporting and treasury reporting team, including advising on implications on reporting and disclosures as required under GAAP
- Responsibility for treasury transactions being appropriately captured for accurate accounting by any treasury management system
- Timely commentary, analysis and external financial reporting
- Analysis for external statutory accounts, reporting and support on disclosures
- Completion of supporting analysis to external auditors and Tax department for inclusion in the annual company tax returns submitted to HMRC.
- Provide innovative contributions into Treasury and Finance led projects, to include technical accounting
- Manage a team of financial and treasury reporting accountants, developing them and help drive value through staff engagement across the wider Finance Team and successfully meets/exceeds all relevant targets and objectives
- Prepare annual Statutory Accounts, Regulatory Accounts, associated external reporting matters on behalf of the business
- Maintain relevant parts of Accounting Policies and Manuals and the provision of expert accounting advice to all parts of the business to ensure compliance and maximisation of value.
- Support the delivery of change across Financial Reporting, Finance and the business, role-modelling new ways of working and owning delivery of key outcomes to drive the improvement of long-term business capability.
This role is looking for a fully qualified accountant with experience in financial reporting, financial instruments accounting and corporate treasury. You will also need to have strong stakeholder management skills and be an effective communicator.
