**Distribution** **Warwickshire (Hybrid Working)** **c. £55,000 + Bonus + Benefits** **The Company** Our client is market leading specialist design and distribution business who have enjoyed considerable growth over the last 5 years; currently operating at c£10m t/o they are looking to appoint a number one in finance to work closely with the Managing Directorto ensure the continued growth and success of the business. (They offer hybrid working so the need to be in the office is 2 to 3 days per week). **The Role** As the on-site number one in finance the aim is to develop a build a finance function to support business growth. Key responsibilities will include: - Managing a small finance team heading up the day-to-day financial activities including; preparation of month end accounts (including variance analysis), VAT returns, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments, audits and year end statutoryaccounts - Implement and maintain all financial controls and systems within the business, identifying and recommending potential operational efficiencies and improvements to working practices and procedures - Support the business in the preparation of forecasts and budgets - Support the management teams in all aspects of financial performance reporting and decision making As a qualified accountant or qualified by experience you will have experience of working in a similar role in a growing SME. With a "Hands On" approach you will have an enquiring mind and a proactive approach able to work as part of a senior management teamarticulating financial issues in an easily understandable fashion.
