An exciting opportunity to join a luxury retailer as an experienced Financial Controller. The business is expanding with impressive growth plans over the next 2 - 5 year plan, to which this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Financial Controllerwho is wanting to be part an exciting, entrepreneurial business. This role you will be working very closely with the CFO and the owners of the business.

**About the role**

You will manage a team of 2 direct reports with view of expanding your team. Along with maintaining 121's and ongoing training and development and motivating your team.

**Responsibilities**
- To lead the financial planning process in order to ensure the timely preparation and presentation of annual budgets and other forward planning information
- Provide commentary on P&L, Balance sheet and Cash Flow performance and underlying variances to plan
- Forecasting for Sales and cashflow on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Annual budget setting
- Oversee the preparation of the monthly management accounts and report thereon
- Ensure the smooth, accurate and timely running of the accounts department, and information produced.
- Oversee the preparation of year end audit and tax files for the auditors
- Produce management information as required in an appropriate format to meet the needs of the users
- Ensure compliance with PAYE, VAT reporting
- Prepare P11Ds, P60 and P35's
- Annual target setting and letters
- Annual Bonuses
- Ensure the security and integrity of financial data
- Ensure company policies and procedures are always adhered to
- Develop and improve the accounting systems.

**Person profile**
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified
- Strong character, familiar with working in a fast paced consumer environment
- 'Hands on' approach, with an understanding of the requirement to sometimes step out of the Financial Controller job description and contribute at all levels of finance
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
- Excellent stakeholder management ability, diplomatic, team player
