**Role Purpose**:
We are seeking a passionate and energetic individual to lead the coordination of our innovative **KidsTime** Workshops**, a fun, dynamic space where children, young people, and their families can explore the impact of parental mental illness. You'll be at the heart of this transformative programme, bringing multiple families together to share experiences, learn through games, drama, and discussions, and build resilience in a supportive, creative environment.

**KidsTime**

These workshops are a unique opportunity for families affected by parental mental illness to connect, understand, and support each other. In each session, young people express themselves, engage in interactive activities, and learn about mental health in a way thats accessible and empowering. Meanwhile, parents and carers find a safe, intimate space to discuss their experiences and their roles as parentsnot patients.

By promoting three core principles**having a good explanation, knowing**youre** not alone, and having a trusted adult to talk to**KidsTime Workshops are proven to help children and families navigate the challenges of mental illness. With **monthly after school workshops after school,** youll help provide this vital support that breaks the cycle of intergenerational mental illness and its impacts.

Key duties- Coordinate and deliver KidsTime workshops in collaboration with the Mental Health Lead, Drama Facilitator, and volunteers, ensuring high-quality, engaging sessions for families.
- Manage and promote referrals by liaising with referrers, undertaking outreach to local communities, and implementing practical arrangements to overcome barriers to access.
- Lead logístical planning for workshops, including booking venues, arranging transport, and coordinating necessary equipment and refreshments.
- Maintain strong communication with families to confirm attendance and provide support, ensuring they feel welcomed and prepared for each session.
- Monitor and evaluate workshop outcomes, collecting feedback and contributing to the service evaluation.
- Ensure safeguarding compliance, maintaining confidentiality and addressing any concerns in line with organisational policies.
- Represent KidsTime as an ambassador, promoting the programme to external partners and at community events.
- Participate in Steering Group meetings, sharing updates and insights on the workshops and their progress.
- Support continuous improvement of the workshops by actively contributing ideas and solutions to enhance delivery and impact.

**General duties**- Ensure that in all aspects of the role you embody the aims, objectives, and core values of Bradford District and Craven (BDC) Mind-
- Champion the BDC Mind Service Member Partnership Agreement, to ensure that it well communicated, understood and implemented at all times by staff, volunteers and people who use our services
- Ensure that the relevant colleagues and a competent understanding of, and comply with, all BDC Mind policies and procedures.
- Take responsibility, with colleagues, for ensuring that all Health and Safety, Safeguarding, Information Governance and Equality & Diversity requirements are met and all other Company policies complied with.
