**Enterprise IP Operations Network Specialist**:
**Location: Newbury, Birmingham, Manchester, London (*Blended Approach)**
**Hours: 37.5 hours per week**

Our network operations teams ensure our customers remain connected to their Vodafone services 24/7, constantly monitoring and enhancing network performance. Be part of Vodafone UK Network Operations, the team that uses the latest technology and analytics to constantly improve customer experience.
**Role purpose**
- Take connectivity requests from ticketing systems and take them through the process of feasibility, approval and deployment onto internal network elements.
- Be involved with project delivery into the operational environment; ensure mínimal impact to customer/users while working to challenging delivery timescales.
- Identify potential service design issues, produce design improvement recommendations and work with support teams and requestors to agree workable solutions.
- Drive ticket/project delivery to defined SLA’s.
- Provide operational support of the Vodafone UK IP Network estate.
**Responsibilities**
- Understand connectivity requests and ensure whether they adhere to security and network guidelines.
- Ensure that requests are possible and achievable in the timescales requested.
- Own complex requests and provide communications to management, more senior team members, and the user community to find solutions or reject requests.
- Ensure all work is carried out and documented in accordance with required standards, methods and procedures to enable easy auditing.
- Provide regular reporting against SLA and adhoc audit reports to ensure process adherence.
- Adhering to data quality within all tracking systems (e.g. Remedy)
- LLD reviews and approval.

- Attend the daily TOCAB meeting to present implementation changes.
**Who are we looking for?**
- Experience in Cisco CCNA - Routing and Switching
- Experience of implementing changes on and troubleshooting Cisco networks. (Cisco Meraki)
- Experience of datacentre technologies - such as Cisco Nexus/ACI- Desirable but not essential
- Troubleshooting user/device access and connectivity issues
- Experience of Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine) & Cisco WIFI
