We are currently looking to recruit a Fleet Controller to join our busy Fleet team based in Tamworth working on a four on four off rotating sift pattern (days). Reporting to the National Fleet Manager you will be responsible for managing driver breakdowns,repair’s and reported defects. Ensuring our fleet remains safe, legal and reliable for operational use. In addition the role will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Fleet Department.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Managing driver breakdowns through our service providers
- Communicating updates through to the fleet & operations team
- Recording driver defects and updating the fleet management system
- Scheduling unrectified defects through service providers and internal teams
- Managing/challenging daily repair status and updating Vehicle Off Road Reports (VOR)
- Communicating/challenging repair agents on breakdown attendance times against SLA
- Raising Purchase orders for fleet maintenance & repair
- Updating working time directive (WTD) data
- Auditing circle check & driver defect reports
- Communicating non
- compliance fleet events through internal flash reports
- Driver Licence checks and reporting

Key Working Relationships

Working as part of the Fleet department whilst ensuring vehicles remain available with minimum downtime whilst supporting operations to ensure our customers are fully serviced. This is a great opportunity for someone with determination to succeed and growalongside the department.

You will be working to support the wider fleet team which incorporates fleet compliance and supports operational colleagues.
