Ground Operations Controller

SelectMyTalent Ltd is proud to advertise for a Ground Operations Controller to start with a well established and growing Executive Jet Operator. The team is responsible for the day-to-day management of various Private Jets and Helicopters, liaising withaircraft owners, crew, and the in-house engineering team to coordinate and manage the desired flying programs of our clients.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- Liaising directly with the clients and owners
- Monitoring and managing the day-to-day operation of the Company Flight Time Limitations (FTL) scheme, ensuring that all relevant Crew Duty records are maintained in accordance with the approved scheme.
- Coordinating and liaising with various third-party service providers including flight support, ground handlers, fuel suppliers, caterers, airport authorities, and other carriers.
- Quoting for Charter Services on the varied fleet.
- Liaising with CAM and Engineering to ensure safe and efficient operation and scheduling of aircraft ensuring maintenance requirements are met whilst also meeting the requests of the clients.
- Monitoring and maintaining the status of aircraft, updating maintenance boards showing planned schedules, on time or delay status, and aircraft technical status
- Ensuring that company aircraft are supplied with appropriate documents in compliance with the Company Operations Manual and appropriate legislation and performing regular audits.
- Maintaining the operations library.
- Liaising with the crew, cabin attendants, and dispatchers to ensure all relevant persons know the necessary flight schedules.
- Overseeing the dispatchers and cabin attendants to ensure aircraft are stocked and cleaned prior to flight.
- Conducting post-flight checks of documentation submitted by the crew to ensure the Company is conforming with the necessary Regulations and highlighting any errors to the Chief Pilot.
- Ensuring that discretion reports, or any deficiencies in return flight paperwork, are brought to the attention of the Chief Pilot and actioning any findings where necessary.
- Monitoring flights, ensuring that duty is maintained during operation, and recording any incidents, actions, and communications relevant to the flight programme.
- Collating and allocating all trip-related costs and liaising with the Finance department to ensure clients are billed correctly.
- Any additional tasks as allocated by the senior management and or Chief Pilot.
**Requirements**:
**Desirable Skills**:
- Excellent IT skills.
- Excellent communication skills with a range of audiences, including senior management, board members, and UHNWI/VVIP clients.
- Numerate with good negotiation skills.
- Ability to work and stay calm under pressure.
- Fixed Wing or Rotary operations support experience, including aircraft management and trip planning.
- A desire to succeed in all aspects of the role.
**Travel Requirements**: You may be required to travel in this role. Applicants are required to hold a valid driver’s license and passport.
