We are currently seeking:
- **CAD planning & Hiredesk assistant**_
**The role**:
The role is based in our Hiredesk office, where all customer enquiries and hire bookings are received.
You will be responsible for creating the essential documentation to support each planned crane hire operation, using CAD skills.
The key requirement for this role is to improve and modernise the presentation of this documentation. With support from our crane technicians, you will review and update crane layout plans and lifting diagrams.
You will use information from site visits and technical information from our team to present plans and risk assessments in a professional manner.
This role also includes carrying out other administrative duties to support the Hiredesk as required and helping to develop our social media presence.
As a growing company, we have plans to expand the business in an exciting new direction and this role will play a key part in these developments.
**Knowledge and skills**
- Proven experience of working with CAD (AutoCAD preferred).
- General office IT skills (Microsoft 365).
- Customer-friendly attitude, professional and polite.
- Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative.
- Flexible and able to adapt to requirements in a small, busy office.
- Must hold clean valid full UK driving licence with access to their own car to get to and from the depot, due to the rural location.
- Uniform and PPE provided.
- Full-time position with overtime available.
- Pension.
- 20 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
