Leads a team responsible for the strategic vision and roadmap for a digital product or products, often with cross-divisional impact, demonstrating a deep comprehensive understanding of the digital product(s) and associated business areas.

The Digital Product Manager Lead is a hands-on, customer-focused leader who manages digital product managers working on B2B business and cross-functional value streams. In this key role, the lead helps set the direction for digital products, shapes goals and objectives, and builds the product roadmap to deliver value to customers and the business. The lead puts the customer first and works hard to delight users every step of the way. Uses data to make smart decisions and checks product health by looking at important numbers and trends. Coaches and gives feedback to other product managers to help them grow and improve.

Core Responsibilities

  • Create and share a clear digital product plan that matches business goals, meets customer needs, and follows market trends.
  • Lead, support, and coach digital product managers. Build a team culture where the customer comes first and everyone is always learning and improving.
  • Work with UX, engineering, architecture, marketing, sales, and other teams to build simple and useful digital products.
  • Make sure customer feedback and needs are at the center of all product decisions, delivering experiences that make customers happy and loyal.
  • Use data to check how products are doing, keep an eye on key numbers like growth, efficiency, and customer experience, and use these insights to make products better.
  • Set clear goals & OKRs for digital products and use key numbers to see if those goals are being met.
  • Help the team use the best ways of working, provide regular feedback, and look for ways to get better.
  • Work closely with leadership and business groups to define and share product vision, value, and progress.
  • Be able to think about the big picture but also take care of day-to-day tasks when needed.
  • Give helpful feedback and support to product managers so they can do their best work.

Criteria (Qualifications & Requirements)

  • Extensive experience in digital product management, with proven experience in managing product managers, ideally in B2B.
  • Good understanding of digital product development, UX basics, and agile ways of working.
  • Strong ability to use numbers and data to guide decisions and make products better.
  • Proven experience delivering digital solutions that put the customer first and improve their experience.
  • Able to work well with people from different teams and get things done together.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills; able to explain ideas simply to any audience.
  • Experience helping team members get better at their jobs.
  • Able to plan for the future while also handling daily details.
  • Comfortable working in fast-changing environments.
