Are you a detail-driven Document Controller looking to take ownership of a growing business's data environment?
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Document Controller to join our expanding Legendre UK team, managing our document systems across London and Jersey.
As Document Controller, you will report to the Senior Design Manager and be responsible for managing Legendre UK's Common Data Environment (CDE), including platforms such as SharePoint, Viewpoint, Procore and others.
Based at our head office in Chancery Lane, you will also visit our five active construction sites across London and Jersey, with further projects planned as our portfolio expands. You will champion the use of Viewpoint across the business, act as the main point of contact for document control, and support contract negotiations with the Senior Design Management team.
Your main tasks:
- Manage and maintain the company's Common Data Environment (Viewpoint, SharePoint, Procore and others).
- Oversee the Viewpoint enterprise licence, renewals and payments.
- Review current use of Viewpoint across projects and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop a consistent strategy and standard structure for future projects.
- Define and implement clear usage standards for internal teams, consultants and subcontractors.
- Create user access matrices and ensure data is correctly structured and archived at project close-out.
- Provide training and daily support to internal teams, consultants and subcontractors.
- Manage document uploads, workflows and notifications to ensure up-to-date project information.
- Resolve any technical or workflow issues related to document control.
- Visit project sites regularly to support the Design and Site Management teams.
Your profile:
You have proven experience as a Document Controller or in a similar role within a main contractor, consultancy or subcontractor environment.
Your assets?
- Strong knowledge of document management systems such as Viewpoint, SharePoint and Procore.
- Excellent organisational skills and a structured approach to managing project information.
- Confident communicator with the ability to work collaboratively with design teams, consultants and subcontractors.
- Proactive, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable training and supporting users across different teams and platforms.
- Eager to learn and grow within a dynamic and expanding business.
- A relevant qualification in construction, engineering, or information management would be an advantage.
