We are seeking an experienced
UI Manager (US)
with a strong background as an
Engineering Manager
and deep expertise in
ReactJS
to lead and scale high-performing frontend engineering teams. This is a full-time role based in the
United States
, ideal for a leader who combines technical excellence with people management, delivery ownership, and strategic thinking.
Requirements
*Key Responsibilities*
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of UI engineers, ensuring high performance, career growth, and technical excellence
- Own the end-to-end delivery of frontend/UI initiatives, from planning and design through development and deployment
- Architect scalable, maintainable, and high-performance UI solutions using ReactJS and modern frontend technologies
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to translate requirements into well-structured technical solutions
- Drive engineering best practices, including code quality, testing, performance optimization, and security standards
- Review code, guide architectural decisions, and ensure adherence to frontend development standards
- Establish and improve development processes, sprint planning, estimations, and delivery timelines
- Balance hands-on technical contributions with people management and strategic leadership
- Partner with backend and platform teams to ensure seamless API integration and system consistency
- Identify technical risks early and proactively propose solutions
- Support hiring efforts, onboarding, and team scaling initiatives
- Track and report on team performance, delivery metrics, and technical health of UI systems
- Stay current with evolving frontend technologies, frameworks, and industry trends, applying them where appropriate
What Makes You a Great Fit
Experience:
Minimum 7+ years of overall experience in frontend engineering
Proven experience in an Engineering Manager or UI Manager role
Technical Expertise:
Strong hands-on experience with ReactJS, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and frontend architecture
- Solid understanding of component-based design, state management, and performance optimization
Experience working with RESTful APIs and collaborating with backend teams
Leadership & Management:
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and grow engineering teams
- Experience managing delivery, resolving conflicts, and aligning teams with business goals
Strong decision-making skills with a balance of technical depth and business awareness
Collaboration & Communication:
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across product, design, and engineering stakeholders
Comfortable presenting technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
