The role:

  • We are looking for a Global Category Strategy Manager to lead the way in bringing the well-loved brand to consumers.
  • This unique opportunity to join the team, with a focus on delivering the brand Category vision globally.
  • The successful individual will focus on Category Vision, Category selling stories for Innovation, Renovation and PPA activities, across global markets.
  • Will work cross-functionally with international teams.
  • Will identify opportunities for the brand, combining a consumer first mindset with a long term strategic view.
  • The core purpose is to deliver category led growth initiatives, so there will be a high level of interaction with stakeholders across the business.
  • You will be part of a high-performing, ambitious team – there is fantastic exposure to senior stakeholders and opportunity to make your mark on one of the most iconic brands within the UK.

Ideal candidate:

  • Experience wise, we'd expect this individual to be operating in a Global Category Strategy Manager position already. This is a Senior role and experience within a Global FMCG business is required.
  • Must have multi-market experience, having delivered Category Vision globally. Experience across Europe, Asia and Australia in particular would be beneficial.
  • Will be a self-starter, confident and driven.
  • The successful individual will have a consumer-first mindset and seek to maintain this throughout. They will love understanding their consumer, their behaviours and emerging cultural trends, to ensure the brand stays at the forefront of consumer mind.
  • Ability to think outside the box – we are seeking individuals who strive for improvements, so we want someone who can bring fresh ideas and really challenge what is possible.
