Zenith Global are the central team, primarily based in London, supporting our local Zenith markets, leading new business efforts, developing thought-leadership, and driving network development for our 250 offices across 95 countries with over 8,000 staff worldwide.
We house a large team of multi-faceted communications planners, digital and innovation specialists and client leadership teams. Our global client portfolio comprises a range of category leaders including Reckitt, TikTok, Edrington, Coty, Electrolux and Nestlé.**
Across both Electrolux and Honor, we have the opportunity to strengthen our strategic recommendations and delivering excellence across media, data, technology and innovation. This is an exciting role where your strategic superpowers will come into play.
You will be working very closely with our Global Strategy Director, Account and Digital teams.
As a genuine people person who is digitally very proficient, this role will provide you with the opportunity to work across the EMEA markets. developing & managing the strategy and communications of our clients.
**The role consists of**:
Multi market and multi-channel strategic leadership
- A global mindset as well as an appreciation for local nuances is critical - we want someone who can closely collaborate with the client and their creative agency in order to develop fit for purpose campaign ecosystems that will drive in-market success.With the support of the Strategy Director.
- supporting the Lead Strategy Director in the development of the annual media guidelines (and their deployment to local Electrolux and local Zenith teams);
- adoption and governance of the centrally developed ecosystems;
- guiding local Zenith teams in terms of media sufficiency.
Stakeholder management (Internal and External)
- You will be engaging with multiple stakeholders in Zenith Global as well as local market teams. We have a highly talented and diverse team and support groups that allow us to do our best work. The person we are looking for should be able to manage up/down/acrossand get things done.
- In terms of Clients, you will interact with the EMEA media and marketing teams. Again, it is critical that you are able to initiate successful engagements with Clients of different levels, expertise and backgrounds.
Strategy Development
- Support the Global Strategy Director to develop brilliant strategic solutions for Electrolux using excellent brand, market, consumer and media understanding to deliver business value developing, implementation and tracking cross-channel media strategies,maximizing synergies across markets
- Help leverage past campaign data and learnings to develop, refine and deliver media implementation guidelines and improve future campaigns
- Constantly interrogating the status quo and inspiring and enabling clients and colleagues alike through thought leadership to stay ahead of the curve and be market leaders.
Examples of tasks:
- Research on development trends of competitors, consumers, markets, industries, media
- Global annual strategy development, deployment and governance (e.g. review the consistency with the strategy)
- Competitive and own brand media plan analysis to assess what’s working / what could be improved
- Campaign review in combination with brand awareness research data
**Qualifications**
- A strategist with planning communication experience
- They should be capable across the board - move with some ease between data, consumers and ideas - and understand all media channels (particularly TV, OOH and Digital incl. Mobile and Social)
- Both a sharp, a strategic brain that can pull together a media-agnostic strategy and commercial nous to understand how the strategy will be implemented across channels to achieve a positive impact on client’s business
- Strong strategic thinking with an ability to communicate (written and verbal) strategic and innovative ideas with clarity and simplicity
- Understanding of what clients want and need
- Cultural awareness, analytical mindset and relentless curiosity
- Confident, driven, persuasive
- Someone who is motivated to do something really ground breaking - someone who’s fresh & exciting
- Knowledge of media and communications planning tools and processes and strong understanding of multiple sources for market, consumer and media intelligence, for example: YouGov, Global Web Index, Euromonitor, Google trends etc
- Numerate and highly analytical with the ability to use a broad range of analytical approaches and techniques, being able to translate data into useful learnings and clear actions
- Cross-channel media planning experience
