Who We Are
Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations Cloud, which is a platform that enables organizations that depend on physical operations to harness Internet of Things (IoT) data to develop actionable insights and improve their operations. At Samsara, we are helping improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of the physical operations that power our global economy. Representing more than 40% of global GDP, these industries are the infrastructure of our planet, including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing — and we are excited to help digitally transform their operations at scale.
Working at Samsara means you'll help define the future of physical operations and be on a team that's shaping an exciting array of product solutions, including Video-Based Safety, Vehicle Telematics, Apps and Driver Workflows, and Equipment Monitoring. As part of a recently public company, you'll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term.
As the Field Marketing Executive, for UK and Ireland, you will use your marketing expertise and creativity to support and execute marketing activity in line with UKI Field Marketing team plans, strategies, and business needs. As an integral part of the UKI Field Marketing team, you will be hands-on and proactive, working across a range of programs, campaigns, communications, and events. You'll have an aptitude and passion for marketing, be highly organised, and able to demonstrate excellent project management skills. You will be expected to execute marketing initiatives with agility, speed, and a customer-centric mindset with a proven track record in managing a diverse portfolio of events and activity, including tradeshows, roadshows, ABM field activations, conferences and webinars.
Location:
Remote but within a commutable distance to our London office with frequent travel across the UK.
You should apply if:
- You want to impact the industries that run our world: Your efforts will result in real-world impact—helping to keep the lights on, get food into grocery stores, reduce emissions, and most importantly, ensure workers return home safely.
- You are the architect of your own career: If you put in the work, this role won't be your last at Samsara. We set up our employees for success and have built a culture that encourages rapid career development, countless opportunities to experiment and master your craft in a hyper growth environment.
- You're energized by our opportunity: The vision we have to digitize large sectors of the global economy requires your full focus and best efforts to bring forth creative, ambitious ideas for our customers.
- You want to be with the best: At Samsara, we win together, celebrate together and support each other. You will be surrounded by a high-caliber team that will encourage you to do your best.
In this role, you will:
- Plan and deliver projects and events on time and within budget.
- Manage third-party vendors (e.g., event and creative agencies) to design impactful experiences that drive meaningful outcomes for both internal and external audiences.
- Partner with the UKI Field Marketing Lead to develop and execute the annual UKI field and events strategy, ensuring alignment with business and marketing objectives.
- On occasion support the wider EMEA field marketing team on European activity and events.
- Oversee flawless event execution (both third-party and Samsara-hosted), including on-site setup and teardown, vendor coordination, merchandise and collateral management, stand scheduling, and briefing organisation.
- Create, maintain, and share a UKI Field Marketing calendar to keep go-to-market teams informed and prepared for upcoming initiatives.
- Track and evaluate event performance against KPIs to assess ROI, generate insights, and recommend improvements.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customer advocates, industry and media partners.
- Act as a cultural ambassador by modeling and embedding Samsara's values—Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, and Win as a Team—as we continue to scale globally.
Minimum requirements for the role:
- Self-starter with demonstrated ability and willingness to roll up sleeves and execute to get the job done, an "owning it" personality who can drive process improvement while maintaining agility
- 4+ years of proven experience in field marketing / event management within the B2B or technology sector, with a strong track record of delivering impactful, results-driven programs.
- Experience in telematics, fleet management, logistics, or automotive/OEM industries is highly desirable.
- Attention to detail, excellent organisation skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail
- A willingness to travel (as needed)
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to work in a fast-moving and pressured environment.
- Ability to communicate and build successful relationships at all levels
- Ability to motivate others and build relationships
- Ability to travel as required for events
An ideal candidate also has:
- SFDC, Marketo experience
- European languages (French/German) would be helpful, but not essential
