Marketing Manager

The Hamilton Ross Group is one of Scotland's leading suppliers of agricultural, groundcare, and construction machinery. We are seeking a proactive and creative Marketing Manager to lead all marketing and promotional activity across the group.
This is a varied and hands-on role where you'll work across digital, print, events, and brand development. You will report directly to senior management and play a key role in shaping how our business is presented to customers across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality content for online and print channels using Canva, Adobe Suite, and other software.
- Manage daily social media activity across all platforms, ensuring engaging and consistent messaging.
- Advertise and maintain listings for all new and used stock on the company website.
- Produce monthly and quarterly newsletters for internal and external audiences.
- Work with external web designers and support ongoing website updates and improvements.
- Write creative copy for blogs, news stories, and wider promotional campaigns.
- Coordinate print production and manage relationships with suppliers and media partners.
- Liaise with key machinery manufacturers, industry press, and marketing contacts.
- Organise trade shows, photoshoots, and promotional events.
Requirements
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience in a marketing role OR a relevant degree.
- Strong design and content-creation skills, with proficiency in Canva or Adobe Suite.
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
- Full & Clean UK Driving Licence
Desirable Skills:
- Experience within agriculture, machinery, construction, or similar sectors.
- Knowledge of website CMS platforms or digital advertising tools.
- Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Email & Social Media scheduling tools.
