**The Hamilton Ross Group are leading suppliers of Agricultural, Groundcare and Construction machinery in Central Scotland.**

An exciting and challenging opportunity exists for a **Marketing Assistant** based at our office in **Lanark**.

As a marketing assistant for the Hamilton Ross Group, you will be responsible for all aspects of advertising and promoting the business, reporting directly to senior management within the group.

Within this role there is a great variety of work as we deal with customers in several different sectors from our depots across Scotland. We also market our business through numerous mediums too, from digital platforms to conventional print media.

We are looking for someone with a good eye for detail who enjoys working with others to create quality content that promotes the group and grows our reach.

An understanding or previous experience in the agricultural industry would be beneficial.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Daily posts across all social media channels with engaging content.
- Advertising and updating of all new and used stock on the company website.
- Monthly & quarterly newsletters for internal and external publication.
- Creating content for online & print publication (Illustrator / InDesign).
- Assisting our web designers and monitoring the company website.
- Writing creative copy for blogs and other promotional activity.
- Procurement of print media and other services from various suppliers.
- Liaising with key machinery suppliers, media and press where required.
- Organising trade shows, photoshoots and other similar events.

**Desired skills**:

- Previous experience in a similar role or associated degree.
- Experience working in agriculture or a familiarity with the industry.
- Knowledge of Abode suite beneficial.
