Our goal is to build a collection of outstanding pubs and venues across London, where tradition meets modern hospitality.

We are seeking an experienced, driven and passionate General Manager to lead a large team in a high-volume, multi-faceted, historic pub with rooms.

The Bull & Egret is a hospitality institution and we are breathing life back into it. The venue is being completely refurbished and once complete will have a large ground floor pub area, a restaurant with PDR, a martini and oyster bar and 10 hotel rooms.

What you must bring

  • Proven experience in a high volume, premium pub environment
  • Cool, calm and collected, approach - you should be able to manage pressure with ease
  • Solid communication and organisational skills
  • Superb customer & floor service skills
  • A passion for people, food, drink and top-tier service
  • Leadership that inspires and empowers your team
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a general manager is a must-have
  • Experience managing kitchen teams
  • Rooms experience would be great but not essential
  • Experience in new openings is a big plus

Your Mission:

  • Help us revive this Covent Garden81, 82 Long Acre, London institution and make it the best pub in WC2E 9NG
  • Recruit & develop a strong, motivated team who deliver excellent customer service and F&B
  • Manage costs across all aspects of the business whilst looking for opportunities to drive new sales
  • Bring fresh, strategic thinking to hospitality

Pay: £37,000.00-£44,000.00 per year
