V4 Consumer, a Consumer ISP Business again trading 11+ years. V4 Consumer supplies phone, broadband, internet IOT, smart home tools & connectivity tools to residential homes across Britain again for over 10 years. We currently have 8000+ residential clients on our books we supply to, we are a licensed Communications Provider & continue to grow by 500+ clients a month V4 Consumer sits at about £3.6M annual turnover, & sits at almost all national comparison sites including Money Supermarket, Which etc. V4 Consumer was recently crowned finalists at the Great British Entrepreneur awards as well.

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Leader hungry for the next level in their career progression at a very exciting juncture for ABI when both businesses it owns & operates are all set to take the next leap in growth. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects, driving financial planning, and ensuring the company's financial health & adequate funding.

This role requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of financial management within the MSP, Telecoms, or Security industry sectors. You would ideally be an existing Financial Controller, Finance Leader, Finance Manager, Management Accountant at a mid-level position no more than 2 years with aspirations to grow into a Finance Director for both Businesses in 18-24 months down the line, & with an excellent knack for getting the best out of existing finance colleagues, hungry to spearhead financial growth to next level for yourself. You will be formally inducted into the ABI Company Board at an opportune time as well as formally inducted as Company Director into the 2x respective Businesses upon successful completion of the "initial period "or once the opportune time arrives whichever is relevant.

Pre-requisites:

• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and accounting principles (GAAP & IFRS) is essential.
• Proficiency in financial software and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) is also required.
• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is typically required, with a Master's degree (e.g., MBA or Master's in finance) or professional accounting qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) often preferred or highly valued.
• Proven experience as a Finance professional, ideally within the IT services, Telecoms, MSP or Security industry sectors.
• Strong in-depth knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, and UK financial regulations
• Excellent analytical, negotiating & problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
• Proficient in financial software and tools.
• Strong leadership, communication (written and verbal), negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are crucial. Strategic thinking, commercial awareness, adaptability, integrity, and strong interpersonal skills are also highly valued
• Ability to work in a fast-paced ever-changing environment & bring in strong financial results despite all odds.

Role Description:

• Proven skill at implementing reliable financial systems & processes.
• Adept at balancing risk and opportunities, can produce intended results within a fast-paced, intense environment
• Successfully lead revenue assurance & bill runs
• Successfully lead Vendor & Wholesaler negotiations & buy costs management
• Able to produce intended results based on a model of delegated leadership as well as encouraging and developing successful finance colleague relationships.
• Conducting weekly, monthly financial reports, reviews & strategic changes.
• Producing/overseeing accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, other financial reporting.
• Identify financial risks and implement measures to mitigate, ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
• Meeting KPIs in aged debtors, PL costs variance, long term/annual strategic goals.
• Conducting daily, regular financial analysis, interpreting data in turn to provide insights to management colleagues for effective change.
• Managing and leading all finance colleagues, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of quality work over worked hours etc.
• Very effective at forecasting, constantly devising strategies to meet business objectives.
