Order to Cash Manager (Billing, Credit & Collections, Cash Allocation)

Order to Cash Manager
on behalf of our client to take full ownership of the O2C cycle, drive process optimisation, and lead a high-performing team in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant billing and collections across a £1.4 billion revenue stream.

, combining the benefits of remote work with regular collaboration in their newly refurbished Coventry offices

Role Purpose

As the Order to Cash Manager, reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll be the driving force behind the end-to-end O2C process. From credit control and billing to cash application and audit support, you'll ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement across our finance operations

Key Responsibilities


•
End-to-End O2C Ownership
: Lead billing, collections, and cash application processes. Ensure orders are processed in line with contractual, pricing, and credit terms.

Team Leadership
: Manage and mentor a team of O2C professionals. Set KPIs, conduct reviews, and foster a culture of accountability and growth.


•
Process Improvement & System Optimisation
: Collaborate with IT and Finance to enhance Business Central performance and reduce manual billing steps.


•
Credit & Collections Management
: Oversee credit risk, drive timely collections, and support cash flow forecasting.


•
Audit & Reporting
: Maintain compliance, support audits, and deliver accurate reporting on aged debt, billing trends, and O2C KPIs.

Requirements


• 5–7 years' experience in Order to Cash or Accounts Receivable


• 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role


• Strong understanding of credit management, billing processes, and cash flow controls


• Experience in shared services or high-volume transactional environments (desirable)


• Professional finance qualification (CICM, AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) advantageous


• Proven track record in process automation and system implementation projects
