THE OPPORTUNITY
Recruitment Administrator - 6 months Fixed Term Contract
Team Swift are recruiting for the role of Recruitment Administrator based at our HQ in Cottingham. This role is a 6-month fixed-term contract which will then be reviewed and could lead to a permanent role.
The Recruitment Administrator plays a vital role in supporting the recruitment process within the organisation. The role involves undertaking administrative tasks to ensure the effective and efficient operation of recruitment procedures, assisting both hiring managers and candidates throughout the hiring journey. The Recruitment Administrator will be the primary contact for candidates and hiring managers. This role requires a creative thinker who can take ownership of the full recruitment and onboarding process.
The ideal candidate would be an organised and professional individual who will bring high energy to the team in line with our EPIC core values.
This role is urgent due to the high volume of vacancies we have, therefore, we are looking to go through a quick recruitment process and would like the right candidate to start asap.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the end-to-end Recruitment Administrative activities including advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, contract writing and on-boarding, ensuring the process is done as efficiently and effectively as possible.
- Support with improving our brand awareness and attraction, attending recruitment events and networking.
- Design and create targeted adverts which are accurate, relevant and promote the company to attract the best possible candidates both internally and externally.
- Manage and maintain our in-house recruitment systems.
- Utilise social media to gain traffic to vacancies and attract both passive and active candidates. This will include the use of all social media outlets.
- Build strong and collaborative working relationships with all stakeholders.
- Support hiring managers with scheduling interviews and being part of the interview and selection process.
- Responsible for ensuring all contracts and relevant welcome packs are issued promptly and administrative tasks are completed and recorded appropriately.
- Responsible for organising the Company Induction sessions, including all necessary administration.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, Equal Opportunities and other relevant employment legislation.
- Support the wider HR team with general administrative tasks and ad hoc projects as required.
- Actively support and champion our Team Swift ethos and EPIC core values.
- Be familiar with, and adhere to, company policies and procedures.
- Meet your health & safety responsibilities and co-operate with management to achieve a healthy and safe workplace, taking reasonable care of yourself and others.
- Be flexible with approach to the delivery of projects, understanding the challenges faced in different environments within the organisation, which on the whole are fast paced and demanding
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience within a Talent/Recruitment Administration role is preferred, however, we are open to applications from anyone who is looking to start a career within HR/Recruitment operations or is looking to move to an in-house recruitment operation from an agency.
- Excellent administration skills with a high standard of attention to detail.
- Strong IT and Social Media skills (Word, Excel, Facebook, Linked In, Instagram etc).
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to 'think on your feet' using your own initiative and manage stakeholders.
- Hard-working, organised and punctual with an accurate and consistent performance
- Able to work to deadlines and adapt to changing conditions
- A collaborative attitude who is keen to learn and bring ideas to the team
