We are seeking a Senior Technician to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality survey services for infrastructure projects across the UK. The role involves conducting intrusive and non-intrusive surveys, primarily on road networks, to support the planning, maintenance, and improvement of transport infrastructure. Full training will be provided to the right candidate.
This position is ideal for a professional who values accuracy, safety, and teamwork, and who is comfortable working outdoors.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct precise and comprehensive intrusive and non-intrusive surveys on roads and related infrastructure assets.
- Collect, record, and validate survey data in line with project requirements and industry standards.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain survey equipment to ensure consistent and reliable performance.
- Safely drive to and from survey locations, ensuring efficient logistics and adherence to travel schedules.
- Tow trailers and transport equipment safely and legally.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental procedures, including correct use of PPE.
- Collect asset data using GPS-enabled handheld or tablet devices.
- Undertake asset and condition surveys in line with UKPMS and other relevant frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure survey outputs meet client and project objectives.
- Be prepared to work away from home Monday-Friday as project schedules require.
Work Environment
- Predominantly site-based, working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Requires regular travel and overnight stays depending on project locations..

Here's what we're looking for:
- Full UK Driving licence
- A detail-driven approach with a strong focus on accuracy and safety.
Previous experience in surveying, civil engineering, or highways projects is a plus, as well as relevant competencies such as:
- CSCS Card – proof of site safety awareness.
- Safety Critical Medical – fit for safety-critical work.
- Trailer Towing Competency – ability to transport equipment safely.
