As a Formulation Technician at the No7 Beauty Company, you will play a key role in supporting the development and delivery of innovative formulation solutions that align with our Brand's strategic plans. Working alongside our Formulation Technologists in a laboratory-based role, you will help ensure our formulations meet consumer expectations, category goals, and brand standards. Formulation technicians report directly to the Formulation Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of the formulation activities on the brand NPD and EPD plans

• Produce bulk, product samples, trial batches, packing off and conducting stability protocols

• Generate and record accurate data and related administrative administration activities in line with processes that support product development

• Manage own workload and is responsible for planning and following defined protocols and procedures within development and delivery of new formulation solutions

• Identify formulation technical risks and escalating to their line manager

• Work to required GLP standards, procedures are completed accurately to time and quality standards, following defined SOPs

• Demonstrate high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

What you'll need to have

• BSc in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field or will have experience in the relevant technology area

• Drive to problem-solve using technical know how and create solutions

• Passion to communicate specialist technical information to a variety of audiences

• Setting and working within quality systems

• Demonstrate collaboration, reprioritising workload and resilience

• Shows a growth mindset

It would be great if you also have

• Relevant industry lab experience, ideally 1 year.
