Do you want to contribute to the future of healthcare? Siemens Healthineers is recruiting for a Production Support Technician to assist in the manufacturing of PET radiopharmaceuticals. The role will involve the packaging and shipping of PET Radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with ADR regulations, at our cyclotron facility on the Nottingham City Hospital campus.

What are my key responsibilities?

  • Preparation of Type A containers and regulatory documentation for shipment of radiopharmaceuticals to ADR (carriage of dangerous goods) regulations in accordance with cGMP.
  • Liaising with couriers to ensure timely deliveries of radiopharmaceuticals to customer sites.
  • Responsible for the cleaning of GMP laboratories.
  • Ensure adequate stock levels of consumables required for production are maintained.
  • Flexible in approach to work according to business needs, including some weekends.
  • Provide administrative support with archiving of documentation, materials control and other tasks where required.
  • Operation of our cyclotron particle accelerator and radionuclidic purity testing of decayed products.

What do I need to qualify for this role?

  • Experience of working in logistics or warehousing. The ideal candidate would have experience of working in the carriage of dangerous goods, although full training would be provided.
  • Excellent time keeping, attention to detail and ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills. Experience in a customer facing role would be beneficial.
