We are seeking a skilled Commis Chef/ Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. You will be responsible for assisting the Chef's team with meal preparation and ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. If you have a passion for food, enjoy working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, and have experience in culinary arts, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices

- Assist in the cooking and presentation of various dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards

- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure the kitchen is clean and safe

- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation

- Monitor food stock levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the kitchen manager

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while working in the kitchen

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant or culinary setting

- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

- Certification is preferred
