Join the Learning & Development Team at L&Q

We have an exciting new opportunity for a L&D Academy Co-ordinator to join our L&D team.

The L&D Academy supports the organisation to develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours required to ensure that L&Q deliver their objectives. We support individual, teams and departments to continuously evolve and develop to reach their full potential.

As an L&D coordinator, you will report into the L&D Academy Co-ordination Team Leader, and you'll be the main point of contact for our customers. We are looking for strong customer service skills, as you'll need to be an ambassador for the L&Q and L&D academy. You'll coordinate and support the team to enable the delivery of internal and external learning initiatives, ensuring activities run smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Strong organisation skills, excellent attention to detail and able to work efficiently, are essential to this role. You'll provide all L&Q colleagues who require learning and development solutions a truly excellent service and all the support they need to enhance their learning experience. We are a forward-thinking team who always innovate and look for ways to improve the performance of people at L&Q.

This is a varied and fast paced role. The successful applicant will have excellent administrative and organisation skills, excellent written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.

Duties include:

  • Coordinating and supporting the delivery of learning initiatives including preparing materials where required, pre and post course/workshop administration, room setup prior to/post course, ensuring rooms are properly equipped and meet and greet delegates as required.
  • Managing and maintaining the LMS system (iLearn) ensuring data is managed accurately and updated in a timely manner to ensure accuracy in reporting.
  • Processing course bookings and maintaining accurate training records, tracking and reporting on attendance and cancellations
  • Providing KPI and adhoc reports as required
  • Liaising with colleagues and external training providers on all courses offered
  • Creating, maintaining and monitoring divisional budgets
  • Supporting the set-up of organisational learning events such as Great Place to Work, Learning at Work Week, Inclusion week and other L&D Academy initiatives.
