Due to Pegasus Concepts Ltd continued growth and expansion, we are looking to strengthen our Health & Safety and are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Coordinator to join our team.
This role would suit someone who is highly organised, confident managing H&S across multiple projects, and looking for a flexible working arrangement. Hours can be discussed and may suit school hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop company Health & Safety policies, procedures, and systems
- Ensure compliance with current Health & Safety legislation and industry standards
- Prepare and maintain RAMS, site-specific H&S documentation, and risk assessments
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks
- Manage incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions
- Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and clients regarding H&S requirements
- Maintain training records and coordinate H&S-related training
- Support management in embedding a strong Health & Safety culture across the business
- Assist with setting up reactive work
Additional Duties:
- Provide administrative support as required across the business
- Assist with general office and compliance-related administration
- Training will be provided for additional administrative duties
Essential Experience & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a Health & Safety role (construction, signage, fit-out, or similar environment preferred)
- Relevant Health & Safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent)
- Strong working knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
Desirable:
- Experience working across multiple sites or projects
- Familiarity with construction/design & build environments
Working Hours:
- Flexible working hours available
- Reduced hours considered (e.g. school hours)
