We are currently looking for a passionate and driven Restaurant Manager to join BEHIND, a Michelin starred fish-focused restaurant, situated on the edge of London Fields.

All chefs double up as front of house in this intimate setting, with a horseshoe-shaped table seating 18 diners for lunch and dinner services. The close-knit team strive for excellence, taking inspiration from the best seasonal ingredients on offer, presenting bold flavour pairings that are delivered with a real sense of theatre.

The manager will receive:

  • A competitive salary between 45k - 50k depending on experience
  • % of profits from upcoming bar venture
  • Four day per week contract (lunch and dinner sittings Wednesday - Saturday)
  • Sunday - Tuesday are set days off
  • Generous holiday package

  • Staff away days / trips abroad - last trip was skiing in Austria

The manager will have:

  • Experience as a manager in a similar style of fine-dining venue, ideally with Michelin star experience
  • A warm and friendly personality, with a flair for recognising and exceeding guest expectations
  • Minimum of one year's experience
  • Stock management experience
  • Ability to lead a team of chefs and ensure the smooth running of service
  • Strong fine wine knowledge
  • Be a great communicator with a dynamic approach and good spoken English
  • The ability to commute to London Fields
  • Note: You must be able to prove your eligibility to work in the UK to apply for this role – you must be a UK/EU Citizen, have ILR/PR status, or hold a Work Permit/Visa with at least 2 years remaining.
