Our full-time position is 37 hours – you choose how to deliver that in your week. As long as you are in the office 10am-4pm 4 days of the week, the rest is up to you.
- We look after our clients REALLY well by knowing their business inside out to give them genuine value from our services. We know this is working due to the number of excellent quality referrals we get from our clients which is a large part of our growth.
- Accountancy is changing and we are always at the forefront of technical innovation - we continue our move to 100% cloud-based services as a Xero only practice over the next 5 years.
In line with our growth and development strategy, we are now based in a spacious office on Clifton Moor - and we took the opportunity to make this workspace a great place to be.
- A mixture of manager offices, open plan working and private rooms for important calls, online courses or just quiet time to focus, plus a boardroom seating 16 and client meeting rooms.
- A fully equipped kitchen and dining area to encourage those essential breaks and downtime with colleagues in the day.
- Mini-golf putting green, full-size pool table, baby football table and just-for-fun fruit gaming machines for a different slant on your lunch break or standing meeting with clients.

Main Targets for this position:
- Integrating with our team
- Looking after a full portfolio of clients
- As a leading Xero Accounts Partner, with Platinum status, working with clients to bring value to their business through the use and recommendation of Xero
Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
- Ensure all customer communications exceed client expectations
- Management of the production of annual and management accounts for a variety of clients
- Assist in implementing the use of Xero Tax for both businesses and personal tax
- Meet the firms KPI's
- Ensure best practice both to clients and internal working practice
- Update regularly and report to your Manager
- Provide business advisory services including tax advice, financial & management accounting
- Identify new business opportunities including cross selling of services
Specific Job Skills:
- Experience of working in a busy office environment.
- To provide an efficient, reliable and friendly service.
- To help clients in the most positive way possible.
- Accurate IT skills, proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Have experience in Xero (not essential).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal sensitively and diplomatically with a range of clients, colleagues and secure information.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to provide a professional and courteous service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Efficient personal organisation and time-management skills; able to use own initiative.
- Willing to work outside regular office hours when required.
- Willing to be involved in other general office tasks, including answering the telephone etc. as required.
