Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that products meet the highest quality standards through rigorous inspection, using the latest CMM and analysis. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about quality assurance and continuous improvement within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The role involves working closely with production teams to uphold compliance with safety and quality regulations, contributing to the overall excellence of our machined products. A full driving license is required for on site customer visits.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
- Utilise analysis skills to identify defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from standards.
- Maintain detailed records of inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions taken.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues promptly and effectively.
- Assist in the development and review of quality control procedures and documentation.
- Participate in internal audits and support external inspections as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and process efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing cnc engineering production environment.
- Able to use office 365 & basic sage accounting.
- Strong analysis skills with an eye for detail and accuracy. .
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear reporting and teamwork.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in quality assurance or related fields are advantageous but not essential. This role is ideal for dedicated professionals committed to maintaining high standards of product quality and safety through rigorous inspection processes.
