Location: Sheffield
Salary: £27,248 p.a.
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday (8:30am - 5pm)
Right to live and work in the UK is required for this role.
The successful candidate will be subject to pre-employment vetting.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Resource Planner to join our team. In this role, you will create optimised schedules that balance client requirements with operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage practitioner schedules to ensure efficient service delivery and compliance.
- Monitor staffing, address coverage gaps, and adjust schedules as needed.
- Manage absences, training, and other shrinkage in line with forecasts.
- Collaborate with the Real Time Team to maximize productivity and schedule adherence.
- Maintain strong relationships with practitioners, managers, and clients.
- Coordinate agency/associate schedules to meet client requirements.
- Ensure booking systems and streaming groups are accurate and flexible.
- Identify and implement improvements to planning processes.
- Perform additional duties aligned with Optima Health values.
Skills & Expertise:
- Experienced in planning and scheduling in complex, multi-disciplinary environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data accuracy skills.
- Confident communicator and relationship-builder, able to influence stakeholders.
- Proactive, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement; proficient in MS Office.
